Skin is the biggest organ of our body. It serves as our body’s protective layer and without it; perhaps we could not function at all. Drink at least eight glasses of water every day. Drinking a lot of water hydrates your skin. Remember if you do not drink water, your skin will lose its elasticity as well its softness. Aside from that, the water helps in keeping all your internal organs up and running. With this, you can be sure that you are expelling all of the toxins from your body thus; your skin will also look great all the time.

Use mild soap. Using mild soap helps in keeping your skin smooth and clear. Avoid using perfumed soaps because this may cause you to develop skin rashes and allergies. If you can afford, you might as well use organic soaps. These kinds of soaps are great because they have properties that can help eliminate acne and other skin allergies. Using baby soaps may also ne great as they are specifically made for sensitive skin.

Use sunblock. Wherever you may go, always remember to use sunblock even if it is cloudy. The sun’s harmful rays will always be there and it would not be nice to age prematurely. Remember, the higher the SPF, the better. Of course, the application of sunblock cream or lotion does not only happen once a day. Depending on your exposure under the sun, you have to retouch as often as you can especially when you are in the beach.

Remove makeup at night. Before sleeping, always remove your makeup. This is to let your skin breathe and have time to repair itself. Use cold cream to remove excess make-up before washing your face with lukewarm water and mild soap, then rinse it off with cold water to close the pores. Right before sleeping, apply generous amount of moisturizer especially under your eyes.

Eating healthy. You are what you eat. So to have a beautiful skin, eating healthy foods is very important. When you do this, perhaps you would no longer ask yourself, “why is my skin so bad?” Load yourself with fruits and vegetables as they have antioxidants that will help your skin glow.

Exercise regularly. When you do the best exercises, you are helping your skin sweat out the toxins from your body. Not only will it help your skin, it also helps in circulating oxygen in your bloodstream, which is great for your body during recuperation. The best exercises will also help you lose some of the extra pounds thus making you more beautiful as well.
